Catching up - February 3rd

I love this quilt. For months I participated in a nine patch exchange. So one month we did reds, then greens, yellows, blues, purples, oranges, browns. It was really fun to get a new package in the mail each month. Once the swapping was done, I carried these little nine patch blocks around for a several retreats, trying to decide how to set them. And finally this is what was created. While the body of the quilt was up on my design wall the idea sprung from my brain to continue the colors in the center out to another border so the piano key border was then done. This is one I might be most proud of. I love that it has blocks from people all over the country in it. Evidence of sunshine peeking through the window I see......

Oh I love this one - I too have tons of nine patches from a swap long ago on Proidgy - when we still lived in CA - maybe I'll give it some thought.
